excellent popular draft of a book on the various energy solutions to support the UK population.
the author tries as hard as he can to show the downsides of nuclear power, but it still comes out very well.
the most amusing one is the attempt to do it all with renewables, in which the UK gets essentially completely covered with windmills and still ends up importing most of it’s power from solar farms in north africa.
